My Work shown at the Senior Animation Show
The Art Institute of Boston (where I graduated) presented The 2008 Senior Animation Show at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. The show was Thursday, May 15th, from 7pm - 9pm with my work shown last (like Hendrix at Woodstock).
The show was the opening screening of my latest animation "Great Dates in History: A Night with Nixon," the kids loved it.
The Coolidge Corner Theatre is located at 290 Harvard Avenue in Brookline, MA.
Sorry this post is late, but everything that was shown can be seen on my animation page.

Dan Meth and Frederator Studios Drinking and Drawing
The video isn't out yet but it will feature animation by yours truly. How this worked was that a bunch of animators/illustrators were brought together to make a film. You would get up to the light box and there would be something already started and you would continue.
I'm the guy on the right working away. This picture was on Boston.com, the website for the Boston Globe. Once the animations are made you'll be the second to know.

"Soon Forget" receives critical acclaim from the Sketch Report
After the SASDVF (Short Attention Span Digital Video Festival) The Sketch Report's Michael Gelobter wrote a review of the night. Here is an exert from the article
...The best film this year, in my opinion, was Alex Cormack's “Soon Forget.”
Based on the soundtrack of a Pearl Jam song of the same title, Alex clearly illustrates the narrative. Furthermore, he subtly and powerfully accentuates the concept by employing 3-dimensional construction in a piece about emptiness. Everything in the video, from the characters to dollar bills, are built as boxes, which emphasizes the hollowness expressed in the soundtrack.

Randy Moss T-Shirt design now available at BarstoolSports.com September 14h 2007
This past August Barstool Sports asked yours truly to design an anti Dan Shaughnessy t-shirt. I made an illustration for the shirt which they liked but Barstool decided to drop the Shaughnessy idea but then commissioned me to create an illustration of Randy Moss for another t-shirt. Here is the original drawing and the completed shirt, now available at BarStoolSports.com.
